UPDATE: Name of Man Involved in Deer vs. Motorcycle Crash in Wood County Released

-A man injured in Wood County after hitting a deer while riding his motorcycle has been identified.The Wood County Sheriff?s Department, the Pittsville Ambulance and Pittsville Fire Department responded to the one vehicle motorcycle incident on Sunday around 3:15pm on County Highway B near Turner Road in the Town of Wood.
According to the investigation, 53-year-old David Fischer of Arpin was traveling west on County Highway B when he struck a deer causing him to lose control. Fischer then ended up in the north ditch.
Fischer was transported from the scene by the Spirit Helicopter.
