Neillsville City Council Hears Reports

The Neillsville City Council heard several oral reports during their meeting on Tuesday of last week.

Police Chief Brad Lindner said that the warning siren in the industrial park is working again, the department is working on the inspection of unlicensed and non-working vehicles and they continue to hand out nuisance violations.

The city attorney mentioned that all the loan items went through and the lien on a property went through as well.

Council member Chuck Glassbrenner also reported on a recent Memorial Medical Center Finance Committee meeting he attended as per agreement of loaning the hospital the $1.5 million. Mr. Glassbrenner said the hospital is continuing to work on their 8 projects in 8 weeks imitative.

It was also mentioned that Charter is going completely digital and they will no longer have analog channels so the city?s channel and the school district?s channel is moving from 98 and 99 to 978 and 977 as of August.

Finally, the council heard a letter from the county treasurer, two Heritage Days Committee reports and the minutes from the recent Library Board meeting.
