La Crosse Man Pleads Not Guilty to the Death of a Neillsville Woman

-A La Crosse man has pleaded not guilty to the death of a Neillsville woman.In December of 2012, 19-year-old Monica Cooper passed away and an autopsy at the Dane County Medical Examiner?s Office determined she died of a heroin overdose.
During the investigation, it was determined that 27-year-old Reavon Taylor was the alleged source of the heroin. He has been charged with 1st degree reckless homicide.
Taylor appeared in Clark County Court for an arraignment Thursday afternoon and entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
Taylor?s court proceedings will continue with a pre-trial conference at the end of this month and a status conference next month.
