Neillsville City Council Approves Several Small, But Important, Items

-The Neillsville City Council approved several small, but important, items at their meeting on Tuesday.First, the city was successful in acquiring the $1.5 million loan for Memorial Medical Center. The city did receive the funds and the council approved moving it to the Economic Development Line of the budget.
In line with that, the council also approved appointing council member Chuck Glassbrenner as a non-voting member of Memorial Medical Center?s Finance Committee to help keep the city updated on how the hospital is doing and making sure the loaned funds are being used appropriately.
The council also approved the resignation of Katrina Eisfeldt from the Parks and Recreation Board and approved a $1,000 donation from the Mormon Historic Sites Foundation.
Finally, as with the Public Works Meeting, the council approved moving the regular common council meeting on August 12th a week ahead to August 5th due to the August 12th Election Primary.
