Members Needed for Ginseng Board of Wisconsin

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) Nominations for three director positions on the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin will be accepted through April 1.

According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture says registered growers may self-nominate or may nominate another registered grower.  The elected directors will serve three-year terms beginning July 1. A mail-in ballot elections will be held between May 15 and June 15.

To nominate a candidate, a ginseng grower must complete a nomination form and have it signed by at least five growers.  The DATCP will mail all ginseng producers nomination forms. Those producers not receiving a nomination form in the mail should call 608-224-5116.
