Owen City Council Still Having Issues with High Bridge

-The Owen City Council continued to discuss problems with overweight trucks crossing high bridge.A barricade was put up, but had to be moved to the side of the road as the road was breaking down when vehicles would drive off the road to go around it, and then come back up on the pavement. Owen?s Police Chief tried to get a hold of Garmin to have them route trucks around high bridge, but he was unsuccessful.
The council discussed making the road a dead end and the Police Chief said he will look into a game camera to record license plates, as had been previously approved at the June City Council meeting.
The council also approved the East Commercial Survey Map and it was sent to the county for recording.
