Search for Fugitive Expands into Jackson County

-Authorities have expanded their search for a fugitive into Jackson County.Back in June, authorities saw 38-year-old Eric Hall put gasoline into a stolen SUV. A chase began with Hall later that night when they tried to pull him over. The chase started in Chippewa County and continued into Eau Claire County before Hall managed to escape.
Authorities received a tip indicating Hall was at a home in the Village of Vesper in Wood County on Monday night. Authorities talked with the homeowner, Francis Otto, but he lied and said Hall wasn?t there. At that point, Hall stole Otto?s vehicle which was later located in Jackson County on Tuesday.
It is now believed that Hall is driving a 2005 gray Pontiac Montana Van. Hall is wanted on a felony warrant for a probation violation and he?s described as possibly armed and dangerous. If you see him, call your local authorities.
