2014 Wisconsin State Fair Cheese & Butter Contest Has Area Winners

Nearly 350 dairy product entries were judged last Thursday in the 2014 Wisconsin State Fair Cheese & Butter Contest.Wisconsinagconnection.com reports that 26 classes were evaluated in such categories as flavor, appearance and texture.
The 2014 Grand Master Cheesemaker, along with this year's other winning cheesemakers, will be recognized during the Blue Ribbon Cheese & Butter Auction on August 8 at Wisconsin State Fair Park.
Winning entries from our area include: Mild Cheddar and Aged Cheddar from Foremost Farms, Marshfield and Flavored Pepper Cheese from Holland's Family Cheese, Thorp.
