Coronavirus Numbers for March 21st

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,161 positive incases, an increase of 1 over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 17 are currently active.  Clark County has had 58 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 571,012 positive cases (an increase of 402 over the previous day) and 6,576 deaths, an increase of 14 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 27,072, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 840,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 840,920 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 2,295,888 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,149 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,156 positive and 105 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,583 positive and 27 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,809 positive and 183 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,793 positive and 22 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,718 positive and 77 deaths.
