Neillsville City Council Hears Committee Reports

The Neillsville City Council heard a couple committee reports at their meeting on Tuesday.During the Heritage Days Committee report, the council heard an update on the queen coronation, the Miss Neillsville scholarships, the bean bag tournament, bartenders, bartender?s schedules and ticket sales.
They also discussed the Heritage Days poster, which has been finalized, and the Business After 5 being held to kick off the events as well.
The council heard a report from the recent Neillsville Community Fire Hall Board. The department is going to get a leak from the ice back up repaired, the sidewalk in front of the station has been repaired and they?re going to check and see if there?s any erosion occurring underneath the floor of the fire hall.
They also discussed the cost of insurance, which came to $1,131.00 with $1,190.00 budgeted for it. They board decided to leave the insurance as is
