Medford Teen Involved With Burglaries Sentenced

-One of the teens allegedly involved in a series of burglaries in Taylor County has been sentenced for the burglaries and drug charges.Nicholas Draszkiewicz, of Medford, and Johnathan Kuy, of Wausau, have been charged for breaking into the Farm and Home and Hickory Nutz Sausage in November. Kuy has also been charged with breaking into Happy Joe?s Pizza.
Draszkiewicz was arrested again at the end of April for possession of drug paraphernalia. He has been charged with two counts of possession for this incident and charged with two counts of felony bail jumping as he broke conditions of his $3,000 signature bond set during the theft case.
For the robberies, Draszkiewicz was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of two counts of criminal damage to property and one count of theft of moveable property. The rest were dismissed, but read into the record. Draszkiewicz was sentenced to 20 days in jail and two years? probation. He must pay almost $700 in court costs, plus restitution and follow all other terms of his probation including testifying against his co-defendants in the robbery case.
