Tuesday, June 24th, 2014 -- 8:23 AM
-The Clark County Forest ATV/UTV trails south of Highway 10 have been reopened. The trails north of Highway10 remain open, but the trails are still wet and vulnerable to damage from excessive acceleration and speed. The Clark County Forestry and Parks Department would like you to please ride responsibly to help reduce maintenance costs and avoid resource damage. Off trail riding is strictly prohibited.
A 2.5 mile section of the trail system from intersection 19 to intersection 20 is closed for repairs. The trail closure is clearly marked. Trail damage at this location has created a serious safety concern with the Koch Pipeline and this section of the trail will be closed indefinitely. The Eau Claire County connector is also closed and there is no access to Eau Claire County ATV trails at this location.
UTV?s are allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the summer as are street legal motorcycles, driven by licensed drivers. Non-street legal motorcycles are not allowed on the trail system.
