County Board Approves Resolutions and Appointments

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several appointments and resolutions during their meeting on Thursday evening.Doris Bakker was appointed to Western Wisconsin Cares and replaced Carl Kallberg, Larry Biddle was appointed to the Board of Adjustment, Roberta Slone to the Birth-to-Three, Lois Garbisch to the Community Options Program Advisory Committee and Mark Cattanach replaced Bruce Sautebin on the Planning, Zoning and Land Information Committee.
The first resolution passed during the meeting changed the name of the Planning and Zoning Department and Committee to the Planning, Zoning and Land Information Department and Committee due to the scope of what is done within the Department and Committee.
The second resolution approved increased the Sheriff?s Office Fees as the old fees were no longer covering the cost of the services.
Finally, a third resolution increasing the meal allowance for county employees traveling for business was defeated with 24 members voting no and 3 voting yes. 2 board members were absent.
