Loyal School Board Looks into Referendum

The Loyal School Board discussed a possible referendum at their meeting this week.A presentation by a Baird Financial Advisor demonstrated the need for a referendum. The district is contemplating a 2014-15 referendum for $195,000 worth of maintenance work to facilities and a $395,000 per year override of revenue limit for the next 4 years.
The board also had the final reading and approval of 3 policies and added a 30 day extension to the Athletic Director?s Contract.
They also approved the Rube Goldberg as an extra-curricular activity and approved the district?s 9th graders to take part in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey.
