Many People Enjoy One Person Crying Exhibit at The Highground

-Many people from all walks of life attended the Opening Reception for Marissa Roth?s One Person Crying: Woman and War Exhibition on June 7th at The Highground.As the rain came and went so did many visitors stopping out to meet world renowned photojournalist; Marissa Roth and to take in this photographic journey through time, torment and triumph.
Marissa?s exhibition is a collection of photos and stories of women from all walks of life and all over the world. Her journey began on the front steps of her grand-parents? home where they and her uncles were killed during WWII because they were Jewish. Marissa spent the next 29 years traveling the world and talking to women who were affected by war. The collection includes the eras, countries and conflicts from WWII to present day Iraq and Afghanistan.
The exhibition will remain on display in The Highground?s Learning Center till September 4th.
