Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators? Reports at their meeting last week.District Administrator Bob Houts notified the board on the FFA?s overnight trip to Madison for the State FFA Convention. He also mentioned that Mr. Engel and 3 students will also be going to Washington DC July 8th through July 15th to attend the Washington Leadership Conference.
Mr. Houts also initiated a discussion about the idea of allowing an athlete to participate in two sports during the same season. While there wasn?t a lot of support from the board for the idea, they did suggest that the item should be placed on the agenda for July for further discussion.
Finally, during the Communications portion of the meeting, Dr. Wendler read thank you cards from Debra Smith for the gift presented at the Teacher Recognition Dinner and from ?Team Tristan? for the opportunity to attend the Brewer game.
