Administrators' Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting last week.Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor reported on the very successful ?Team Tristan? trip to Milwaukee and the Brewers game on May 15th. Through the efforts of several staff members, enough funding was raised from community groups to allow the students to attend the game, ride in a coach bus and have a terrific day.
In conjunction with Mr. Engel, the Ag class and the FFA, the 4th grade participated in Ag Day on May 28th. He also said that end of year activities went well, including the end of year assembly and the 9th annual Spring Sing.
Jr/Sr. High School Dean of Students Brian Lewison notified the board that second semester grades have been finalized and report cards have been sent out. Mr. Engel and 15 FFA members were in Madison attending the State FFA Convention.
He also said that summer school in the high school started last week with English. Drivers ed started last week as well and all other classes begin today, June 16th. He also thanked the Lion?s Club for the use of the sound system at gradation, especially Mike Renderman and Lyle Roe for setting it up.
