Capital Purchases and More at the Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board approved several capital purchases at their meeting on Thursday of last week.The board approved Suda Plumbing for work in the elementary school and A1 Services was approved for seal filling / crack filling of the district?s blacktop driveways at the middle/high school.
The board also tabled the bus contract, which was tabled form the May meeting, to the July meeting as there were not enough board members present to vote on the matter and one member couldn?t vote as it would be a conflict of interest.
The board approved the students in the middle/high school to take place in the Youth Risk Behavior survey which is being administered by the Clark County Health Department. The department will use the data from Greenwood, and all Clark County schools, to develop programs and curriculum.
Finally, the 2014-15 School Improvement goals were approved by the board. They had been changed during a recent teacher in-service day.
