Neillsville City Council Hears Update on Grand Avenue Water Main Replacement Project

-The Neillsville City Council heard an update on the Grand Avenue Water Main Replacement project coming up.Dave Flynn, Neillsville?s Director of Public Works, mentioned, during the public works portion of the meeting, Mr. Marty had ordered the materials needed for the project and they are expected to start after the 4th of July.
Dave went further saying the project was pushed back due to the weather this year and a delay in the delivery of the material. He said the entire road will not be torn up, only where they need to replace the water main. The road will be closed except to local traffic.
Dave said he?s expecting the project to last at least a month and he also mentioned that they?re going to try and raise the road a foot as there are some pretty steep driveways in that area.
