Greenwood School Board Discusses Employment Matters

The Greenwood School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Thursday.The board approved a science teacher contract for Megan Melcher and approved Hanna Rakovec, Stephanie Stieglitz, Tim Raese, Jenni Bock and Heather Durrstein as volunteers.
The board also approved the resignation of Marcia Gregorich from her cook and custodial position after 15 years, Michelle Heuser as an elementary teacher for 5 years and as the softball coach and Cidy Wirkuty from her four year old kindergarten teaching position for the past three years.
Greenwood?s Superintendent, Jennifer Vogler, thanked all of them for their years of service and their dedication to the district.
The board also approved the middle/high school handbook, the extra and co-curricular handbook and the 2014-14 budget transfers. They also reviewed the 2014-15 preliminary budget and moved the 2014 Fall Extra-Curricular Contracts to the July meeting.
