Neillsville City Council Hears Important Updates at their Tuesday Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard some important pieces of information at their meeting on Tuesday.

The city has received the claim from the Ricky Taylor estate for $2 million. The city?s attorney will be working with an attorney from the city?s insurance company on the issue.

Also, the taxi on the northern end of the county is doing extremely well. So much so, that they are looking into getting another vehicle. The taxi here in the southern end of the county is also doing very well.

The council also heard a report from the recent Heritage Days Committee Meeting. The poster was updated, a brochure will be made, a list of beverages to be served was made, heard updates on tee shirts, can coolers and the bartender schedule, Nicolet National Bank will be sponsoring the Bean Bag Tournament and the committee sent the motion to extend the hours of Schuster Park to the Common Council which was approved.
