BloodCenter of Wisconsin Hosting a Blood Drive at Memorial Medical Center Today

-BloodCenter of Wisconsin is launching a summer blood donation effort, ?You to the Rescue? to help meet a critical need.First responders, including police officers, fire fighters and paramedics, are partnering with the BloodCenter to help raise awareness of the increased need for blood donations during the summer months.
Clark County residents can make a life-saving donation today, Thursday, June 12th, from 11am to 4pm at the Memorial Medical Center Recreation Room.
Summer is the time when first responders count on blood donors to help trauma patients. There is an especially great need for O-negative blood, as well as platelet donations.
BloodCenter is asking Clark County residents to help reach a goal of seeing 1,500 additional blood donors across all of its community blood drives and donor center between June 9th and August 31st.
