Neillsville Dairy Breakfast on Sunday
Friday, June 6th, 2014 -- 6:58 AM-It?s time to celebrate June dairy month with breakfast on the farm.
This year?s Neillsville Dairy Breakfast will be held on a farm 7 miles north of the city on State Hwy. 73. Art and Sandy Luedeke are ready to welcome area residents, as well as visitors from far and wide, to their farm in central Wisconsin on Sunday, June 8th.
As sponsors of the Dairy Breakfast, the Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Neillsville FFA and FFA Alumni, recognize the effort required to prepare the farm for the event and are grateful to the Luedekes who generously offered to host this year.
After indulging in a delicious meal, attendees are encouraged to tour the grounds and enjoy the Marshfield Hoe Downers Square Dance Club, live music by the Danish Peasant, a petting zoo, face painting, an antique tractor display, and activities for kids.
Transportation to the farm is being provided by buses generously donated for the event by the School District of Neillsville. Parking will be in the Boon Construction lot located on State Hwy. 73.
At last year?s event, 1,448 people were served with over 100 volunteers helping with the event.
