Two Local Residents Recognized by Tanks fo Thanks Program

-Two locals residents have received a special thank you for their contributions to the community.Sue Hubing of Unity and Marty Kaiser of Colby were selected to receive free fuel from Tanks of Thanks?, a program that rewards people who do good deeds to help make their community just a little bit better.
The Tanks of Thanks program from CHS and Cenex? retailers encourages people to nominate friends, family and neighbors for free fuel as a way to say thank you for doing good in the community. Each month, CHS and Cenex retailers give away more than $5,000 in free fuel through the Tanks of Thanks program.
Hubing was nominated for doing many things for her community, including holding multiple fundraisers to restore an old building that is now used as an event center for parties, benefits and sporting events.
Kaiser was nominated for his work as the postmaster in Colby. Although he is now retired, he is still an important member of the community and is involved with the emergency medical team. Earlier this month, Hubing and Kaiser were selected to receive $50 Tanks of Thanks gift cards, redeemable at any Cenex location.
