Coronavirus Numbers for March 19th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,160 positive incases, no increase over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 20 are currently active.  Clark County has had 58 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 571,220 positive cases (an increase of 490 over the previous day) and 6,556 deaths, an increase of 2 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 26,994, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 761,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 761,027 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 2,148,882 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,132 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,136 positive and 106 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,583 positive and 27 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,786 positive and 183 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,792 positive and 22 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,715 positive and 77 deaths.
