Clark County Tourism Committee Meeting, Part 3

-The Clark County Tourism Committee held a meeting at Holland?s Family Cheese in Thorp on Wednesday afternoon.Several upcoming projects and recently completed projects were mentioned during the meeting. The City of Thorp will be adding six new cows to their current lineup of Amazing, Grazing Cows. These cows will be in the Dairy Days parade in Thorp on June 1st.
The committee also talked about the new Clark County visitor?s guides. The guides include maps of tourist locations that people can use when they?re in the county. The committee is going to keep the guides moving and send them to different locations in and outside of the county.
Holland?s Family Cheese mentioned their open house and grand opening for their new facility on the last Saturday of July. The committee also discussed the Studio Art Tour held in the county at the end of April. They had 28 artists involved and they received positive feedback from everyone.
Finally, an item that will be discussed at the next meeting was mentioned briefly and that?s capturing unique tourism money in Clark County.
