A Donation and Yearly Agreements Approved at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board accepted a donation at their meeting on Monday.They accepted a $1,000 donation from the Olson foundation which will be used for the bleachers. They also approved Linda Turnquist, Kimberly Kolano, Melissa Grambsch, Lisa Artac, Lynelle Love and Brenda Thomas as volunteers.
The board approved Unifirst to provide uniforms for the school district and approved the Clark County Nursing Agreement. The agreement allows the district to have this partnership with the county program which assists them with different medical concerns that come up during the year and they have puberty discussions with the fifth and sixth grade elementary students. This agreement is approved on a yearly basis.
Also, the Elementary Secondary Education Agreement Assurances was approved. The district is required to follow the ESEA guidelines for the use of this money and this is another program that is approved yearly.
