-Three teenage boys from Marshfield were scolded after taking the ?cold water challenge? to new levels. If you haven?t heard of the cold water challenge, it?s a social media campaign where people nominate their friends to jump into cold water or pay $100 to charity.
A couple weeks ago, three teens took it to the next level when two of them videotaped the third setting himself on fire and then jumping into the cold pond.
The teens parents were contacted and told what happened and the teens were told how foolish and stupid the use of fire for the act was.
None of the boys were hurt and because it was done in a secluded area, they weren?t charged for the incident. The video was posted on Facebook, but has since been removed.
