Memorial Medical Center Foundation Holds Annual Meeting

-The Memorial Medical Center Foundation held its annual meeting on Monday evening.This meeting was the first time donors were invited to the meeting, along with the board members, so they could see what the foundation has done with the funds received.
Jerry Quicker, the board chair, thanked everyone for their support and donations. He said the MMC Foundation has raised over $250,000 the past two years and that money has gone towards medical equipment for the hospital including exercise equipment for the assisted living facility, an EKG System, a portable X-ray unit, a defibrillator and more.
Jerry also mentioned some of the fundraisers the foundation holds including Mingle which will be held in September at the Silver Dome Ballroom this year and the Ladies Golf Outing.
Finally, the board elected their executive team. Jerry Quicker remained as Chair, Merrill Brunette remained as Vice Chair, Wendy Sigurdson as Secretary/Treasurer and Neil Armitage as a board member.
