67th Alice in Dairyland Crowned

-The 67th Alice in Dairyland has been crowned.After a final tour this morning at Malm's Rolling Acres in Loyal, a presentation by each candidate about a business they toured during their time here and a final speech; the judges chose Zoey Brooks of Waupaca as the 67th Alice in Dairyland.
Zoey thanked Clark County for being a gracious host during the finals and thanked the now former 66th Alice in Dairyland, Kristen Olson, for all the hard work she's put in during her reign as Alice. Kristen gave an emotional farewell speech and was thanked numerous times, by many people for all of the dedication and hard work she put into the Alice program.
Ben Brancel, the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, presented Chuck Rueth with an award for all the work he did on the Alice in Dairyland Steering Committee. He also took the time to thank the various partners of the Alice program and all the sponsors of the event were acknowledge and thanked as well.
The 68th Alice in Dairyland Finals will be held in Manitowoc County in 2015.
