Man Arrested in Abbotsford Drug Bust Appears in Clark County Court

-One of two men arrested during a drug bust in Abbotsford a few months ago appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.At the end of February, the Clark County Sheriff?s Department and Colby-Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant on Sycamore Street in the City of Abbotsford and authorities seized over $12,000 worth of methamphetamine from the home.
22-year-old Anthony Rogers, of Wausau, and 26-year-old Jonathan Gates, of Ogema, were arrested during the bust. Rogers has been charged with possession of amphetamine, possession of THC and a felon possessing a firearm. Gates has been charged with possession of amphetamine and felony bail jumping.
Rogers appeared in court and waived the reading of the complaint. He also requested a lower bond of $2,000 as opposed to his current $5,000. The lower bond was denied. Rogers will appear in court again later this month.
