Building at Marshfield Business Called a Total Loss After Tuesday Fire

-A building at a Marshfield business is being called a total loss after a fire early Tuesday morning.A fire occurred around 12:15am at SV Pallet in Marshfield. The fire was in a large steel sided building filled with wood and pallet making equipment. Everything was completely destroyed in the blaze. A back hoe was brought in to pull apart the building so the department could completely douse the fire.
People passing by the facility noticed the fire and called it in. The Wood County Sheriff?s Department did close Wisconsin 80 at County Road N for several hours while the fire crews were fighting the fire.
Eight fire departments assisted with the fire and no one was hurt in the incident.
