Coronavirus Numbers for March 18th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,160 positive incases, no increase over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 20 are currently active.  Clark County has had 58 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 570,730 positive cases (an increase of 318 over the previous day) and 6,554 deaths, an increase of 15 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 26,942, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 738,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 738,714 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 2,089,819 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,126 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,120 positive and 106 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,586 positive and 27 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,777 positive and 183 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,790 positive and 21 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,714 positive and 77 deaths.
