Teen Charged for Crime Spree in Local Counties
Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 -- 6:44 AM-An Oshkosh teen was sentenced for his part in a crime spree in several local counties.
Garrett Niggeman, along with two other teens, Sawyer Wirkus and Nicholas Nesbitt, allegedly stole two vehicles, attempted to steal two more, stole a gun and burglarized both a cabin and a shed between Wood, Taylor and Marathon Counties.
During a plea hearing on Tuesday, Niggeman was found guilty of three of the seven charges filed against him which were three counts of misdemeanor theft of moveable property. The four other felony charges were dismissed, but read into the record.
Niggemann was sentenced to 2 years? probation on all three charges and they will run concurrent of each other. He is also on a $12,000 signature bond and must follow all the conditions of his bond. If he is successful in completing his bond, he can apply to have is record expunged at 22.
