Alma Center Man Crashes Vehicle Near Train Tracks in Jackson County

An Alma Center man crashed his vehicle near train tracks in Jackson County Saturday night.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle, driven by 46-year-old Jessie Hoff drove off the southbound lane of Highway 12/27 around 10pm Saturday night.  His vehicle came to rest on its side near the train tracks three miles north of Black River Falls.

The train company was contacted and a train had to be stopped before it reached the crash site.  Hoff is facing charges of OWI 4th offense and others.
