-The Neillsville water and sewer department are on track for the 1st quarter.During the Public Works portion of the meeting, Clerk-Treasurer Rex Roehl informed the council that the water department currently has $86,000 in receivables and the sewer department has $102,000 in receivables.
When the next loan payment is due for both departments, the city will need $99,000 for water and $207,000 for sewer. In both cases, Mr. Roehl said that they are on track to make that payment and everything looks fine.
Mr. Roehl said that the city will also see a slight increase with garbage pickup. Advance Disposal is increasing their fee by $.10 due to a landfill tipping increasing. Garbage pickup will now increase to $7.23 and recycling will remain the same at $1.61 meaning the price for both will come to $8.84.
Finally, Mr. Roehl also said that a recycling grant the city receives will decrease slightly to $9,357.41.
