Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the public works report before their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work was done in the city the past couple weeks including snow removal, equipment maintenance, hauling brush, cleaning gutters, opening storm drains and more. Public Works Director Dave Flynn also wanted to remind residents that they shouldn?t be running their water anymore unless they were instructed to do so.
Dave also mentioned that they've replaced some road signs on Hewitt Street. They needed to be upgraded to the new reflectivity standard, he?ll be sending out the annual water report and it will be awhile before any street sweeping is done.
The council also heard a committee report from a recent Heritage Days Committee Meeting. Some items discussed in the meeting included having the Queen Coronation at Schuster Park Thursday night, having a Business After 5 Thursday night, getting ready to finalize the Heritage Days Poster and more.
