Neillsville Library Board Looking to Bring New Programs to the Community

-The Neillsville Public Library Board heard about new programs and other initiatives the library would like to bring to the community.Using $15,000 available from the Library Foundation Fund, the Neillsville Public Library would like to bring in different exhibits for people to see and examples given during the meeting included ?A History of the American Flag,? ?A History of Firefighters,? having a poet come to the library and read different works of poetry, having a make-up and mask specialist come in October to show cool ways to make Halloween costumes and more.
The board would also like to use some of the available funds to update the library?s website and get them some equipment they need. The board will have a full proposal ready for the foundation before their meeting on May 22nd.
The Library is also getting quotes to put new carpet in the facility.
