Stanley Man Sentenced for Possession

-A Stanley man has been sentenced for possession.In the summer of 2013, the Stanley Police Department, along with the Cadott and Boyd Police Departments as well as the Chippewa County Sheriff?s Office, received a search warrant for a residence on 2nd Avenue in Stanley.
The department obtained the warrant after receiving detailed information from community members about suspicious activities taking place at the residence. During the execution of the warrant, 40-year-old Gerald Kettle and 18-year-old Nathan Kettle were arrested. Another 17-year-old male was also arrested.
Kettle entered a guilty plea to two misdemeanor charges of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. A felony charge of maintaining a drug trafficking place was dismissed, but read into the record.
Kettle was sentenced to 2 years? probation and he must complete 100 hours of community service. He also owes the courts $352.00. If he follows all terms of his probation, a fourth charge, felony manufacturing THC, which has currently been deferred will be dismissed, but read in.
