Red Cross Blood Drive in Thorp Today
Tuesday, April 8th, 2014 -- 8:26 AM-There is a Red Cross Blood Drive being held in Thorp today.
While donors of all blood types can make a life-saving impact, there is an especially great need for O negative, A negative and B negative donors. O negative blood is of critical importance, as it is the universal donor and the blood type given to newborn babies and people in emergency situations.
The Red Cross is asking for the communities help to continue to provide blood donations to area hospital patients who depend on them.
The Blood Drive is being held at the Thorp Fire Hall from Noon to 6pm.
