Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 -- 11:09 AM
-Matthew Prein and Wade Hebert of the Clark County Law Enforcement Association stopped into The Highground Veterans Park to present Kirk Rodman, Volunteer General Manager, a check for $300 from the Association to help continuing efforts on the Military Working Dog Tribute. The committee is interviewing different artists that have submitted designs for the tribute. Once the design is picked, the committee will present their decision to the Board of Directors for approval. With funding being started already, plans can move forward to have the design commissioned. Upon full funding activities, the tribute to honor our Military Working Dogs can come to fruition. If you would like to contribute to this tribute, please send your donation to The Highground indicating your desire to participate in this effort.
The Highground would like to thank Matthew and Wade for taking time to visit The Highground and the whole association for their support in honoring our working dog veterans.
