Marshfield Police Department Closes Multiple Roads Tuesday Evening

-The Marshfield Police Department closed multiple roads last night as they went to arrest a suspect inside a home.The department said they went to arrest a male suspect at a home on Adler road Tuesday evening, but the individual went back inside the home. He then allegedly armed himself with a knife.
Police were able to get inside and search the home, but, by that time, the suspect was gone and they were unable to find him.
The department did not elaborate on why they went to arrest this suspect, but they did say it was in response to an investigation.
The suspect is believed to be on the run, but the department said the public was not in danger.
