-A former employee from an Abbotsford auto parts store has been charged with stealing close to $70,000 from the business.According to investigators, the incident happened over six years with various amounts taken from 2008 up to 2014. Kirk Kalepp would falsify return slips and pocket the money.
The NAPA Auto Parts Store contacted the Abby Police Department in December, concerned that this was happening. A surveillance video showed Kalepp taking the money out of the drawer when the other employees were not around.
Kalepp did admit to the crime, saying he needed the money for credit card debt and medical bills.
