The 67th Alice in Dairyland Finalists, Part 1

-The 67th Alice in Dairyland Finalists were announced at Grassland Dairy Products Friday afternoon.Allyson Binversie of Manitowoc talked about her long time connection with agriculture.
Allyson said, "I'm a descendant of two century farms. Dairy on my dad's side and pork on my mom's side. I'm currently a Master's student at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington earning my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling."
Zoey Brooks of Waupaca will soon be graduating with a degree in Animal Science from UW-Madison.
Zoey said, "I am currently a student at UW-Madison. I will be graduating this May with a degree in Animal Science. I am a sixth generation on my family's dairy and grain farm in Waupaca, Wisconsin. And, currently, I intern with DATCP, Affirmative Agriculture with their International Trade, helping companies export their products worldwide."
The finals are being held right here in Clark County May 15th-17th and the candidates will now prepare for the longest and most thorough job interview, they may ever experience, to become the next Alice. Kristen Olson, the current Alice in Diaryland, will share her experiences with the finalists as May draws near.
