Wisconsin Rapids Police Investigating Disturbance

-The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is investigating a disturbance that reportedly took place Sunday afternoon involving a firearm being discharged.According to police, the incident involved six to eight people, not of whom where injured. Officers responded to the 3000 block of Eighth Street South around 2:23 PM.
A suspect vehicle was stopped in the area of Elm Street and Wood Street in Wisconsin Rapids a short time after the incident was reported. Five people from the suspect vehicle were detained and questioned.
The firearm has not been located at this time.
Due to conflicting statements no arrests have been made.
