Coronavirus Numbers for March 15th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,161 positive incases, an increase of 1 since Friday.  Of the total number of cases, 15 are currently active.  Clark County has had 59 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 569,638 positive cases (an increase of 274 over the previous day) and 6,536 deaths, no increase over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 26,791, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 698,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 698,915 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 1,994,341 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,116 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,092 positive and 106 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,585 positive and 27 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,756 positive and 183 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,783 positive and 21 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,705 positive and 76 deaths.
