Daylight Savings Time Begins Early Sunday
Saturday, March 13th, 2021 -- 6:25 AM
Tomorrow morning at 2am we’ll be “spring”-ing forward an hour and entering Daylight Saving Time. So before you go to bed tonight, set your clocks ahead one hour.
The concept, which was first introduced in 1916 in Germany during wartime to conserve electricity, persists today to give people more daylight during traditional hours.
Not everyone loves it though—both Arizona and Hawaii don’t participate in the practice, and a couple of other states have introduced legislation to squash the idea too.
