Wisconsin Slammed With Bitter Cold Once Again

-Wisconsin is once again dealing with another blast of arctic air that will continue to cover the state for the next several days.Low wind chill readings of 10 to 35 below zero will be widespread across the state with high temperatures mainly in the single digits to mid-teens. Weather forecasters warn that some record low temperatures could be set this week.
ReadyWisconsin wants to remind people about the risks of extreme cold. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur in a very short amount of time with these bitter cold temperatures.
With the severe cold weather, the Department of Administration wants to remind individuals that emergency heating assistance is available.
You should also be aware of carbon monoxide danger when trying to heat your home, look after your pets and have an emergency kit when driving.
