Roof Repair Bid Approved at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board approved a bid for roof repairs at the district.The repairs will be done to the oldest part of the High School and the bus garage. Neillsville?s District Administrator, John Gaier, said the two companies that bid on the project were told they need to get started as soon as possible and should be done by June.
Mr. Gaier also said that they need to do something with some of the vents on the school roof. They currently sit flush with the roof and, in the Winter, snow gets in them. When the snow melts, the water leaks into the school.
In the end, the board approved a bid of $297,218.00 from Kulp?s of Stratford.
Mr. Gaier also mentioned a long list of other big projects that will need to be done in the near future, including the parking lots, more roof repairs, door replacements and more.
