44th Annual Neillsville Winter Carnival, Part 2

-The 44th Annual Neillsville Winter Carnival is happening this week.Deanna Heiman, Executive Director of the Neillsville Chamber of Commerce, talked about some of the events returning to this year?s carnival.
Deanna said, "We have a full slate of good things to do this weekend. We're going to kick off the festivities, actually it kicked off on Monday of this week with the Annual Gold Medallion Search sponsored by WCCN and WPKG. Listen to WCCN and WPKG on clues on where to find the gold medallion and win some cold, hard cash if you find it. Thursday evening, the Miss Winter Carnival Pageant will be held in the High School Auditorium at 6:30pm. We look forward to that every year, crowning a new Miss Winter Carnival. Starting on Friday and running all weekend, at Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area, they have a buy one, get one lift ticket special. You can pick up certificates for the reduced price lift tickets at any of the local banks in town, the chamber office, Hansen's IGA and Gordy's. This special is good all weekend long at Bruce Mound. We welcome everyone to join us for vocal talent and a few laughs at the Variety Show and Comedy Show Friday night at 6:30pm in the High School Auditorium. We have a number of talented acts in both the adult and junior category this year. Tickets will be available at the door Friday night."
